It’s that time of year again and we happy to announce that our wonderful Jersey Lavender Farm is open to visitors. The visiting season this year stretches from 8th April to 21st September – so that’s nearly 6 months where you can include a visit to us into your wonderful Jersey holiday. A visit to us can include:
Sprigs Café – we use a selection of local, seasonal produce (including a sprinkling or two of our very own wonderful culinary lavender) to produce some seriously scrummy breakfasts, lunches, cakes and a whole host more. We also have a lovely kids menu and a delicious selection of teas, coffees and other drinks – including lavender tea and our very own lavender and strawberry lemonade. Yum!
Sprigs Shop – our on-site shop features an amazing range of our farm-made lavender (and other herb) products. All using our home distilled essential oils in a significantly higher concentration than can be found in many high street products. The shop also sells a great range of original lavender gifts and a delightful array of other lovely gifts and homewares. And wow does it smell good!
The Distillery – unless you’re in the business, you may not have seen (and smelt!) a working distillery before. Our steam distillery extracts the purest essential oils from our wonderful crop of lavender and other herbs. From 3rd June to 17th August (during harvest season) we run twice daily talks (at 11:30am and 3pm) which feature loads of fascinating information about exactly what we do on the farm, and tends to involve experiencing a wonderful range of different oils. If your visit falls within these dates then make sure you don’t miss out on the fascinating and informative talks.
The Grounds – not only do we have 9 acres of stunning lavender fields (which are in flower from around early June to late July/early August), but we also have extensive gardens featuring a wide variety of plants, trees, herbs and bamboos. For those who don’t just fancy a serene and peaceful wander we also have a small playground and our fabulous Discovery Nature Trail which runs around the farm with lots of fun questions to answer.

“Been to Jersey for the last 3 years and have visited the Lavender Farm on each occasion. This year I had a delicious cream tea with Jersey butter, a choice of plain, lavender or fruit scone, Jersey cream and a little jar of strawberry jam, all washed down with a pot of their lavender tea. Superb. I also bought some of their Lavender shower gel and spray cologne which were pure and concentrated lavender which meant that I only had to use small quantities. Definitely worth a visit when visiting Jersey as I will again next year. Highly recommended.”
