Lovely place to visit. We went when there was not much lavender in bloom but it was still worth going! Lovely wild flowers in the fields - a great walk! Bonkers cockerels! Smashing cafe and lovely woods and gardens to admire. Then the shop full of things you would buy for Christmas stockings. Nice people! The lavender oil process is explained in a small barn. -

Beautiful sweet smelling lavender grows here and the shop sells loads of products from little bags to marmalade all filled or made from it. The cafe does lovely sandwiches and cakes, plus a great cuppa. Visit on a warm day and you won't want to leave. -

Very pleasant trip to the Lavendar farm when it was too windy to enjoy the beach. Its small, but cute. We went late in the season so only one variety of lavendar was still in bloom. Its a grass roots operation, great distillery talk (they run twice a day at 11am and 3 pm). The talk is essential to get value for money. Entrance is £5.90 for adults and free for children 16 years and under. The gift shop is fantastic! Many unique gifts you won't find elsewhere. It's really good knowing all the lavender products they sell come from their fields. The poor reviews aren't warranted, it's a working farm that focuses on the product. It's not a large farm, but it's Jersey, not the South of France! If the entrance fee puts you off, a visit to the gift shop is enough to please any lavender lover. -

I was dubious when I arrived. I had seen everything within 15 minutes. I took a walk around the lavendar fields and watched the bees busily working. And then I really got my value for money: the distillery talk! About an hour and 15minutes of fantastic information and entertainment. Don't forget to schedule your visit to take in one of the talks at either 11:30 or 15:00. I didn't think that I could be captivated for over a hour about a plant but the passion with which the gentleman spoke warrants 5 stars. Don't forget to take a look around Ron's Garden: it's free and well worth a look. Kids will love the fairy kingdom. -

The friendly farmer provided a well informed presentation on the history of the farm and the process involved in the growing and harvesting of lavender. Sweet tea room, offering home cooked goodies. Lovely place to take young children I visited with my parents and 2 year old and we all had a lovely time. There were plenty of interesting things for adults, as well as chickens, swings and Reg's garden for the little ones (This garden was an amazing surprise and a huge hit with my boy!-thanks Reg) We stopped at the cafe which has a good selection of food and drinks (including lavendar hot chocolate which was delicious) The staff were very friendly and helpful and we will visit again when next in Jersey! -

Lavender blue..... Very enjoyable. Went when the lavender was at its best. Had an interesting but somewhat overlong description of lavender oil production and watched the lavender heads being loaded into the still. Pleasant little cafe. Keep your eyes open for the very smart cockerel caring for his ladies. At the far end of the site there is an entrance to Reg's Garden. Well worth visiting especially if you have small children. -

Delightful I visited the farm for the first time recently, on the first day of re-opening. Even though the lavender wasn't ready yet, the smells in the garden were lovely. You pay a small fee to walk around the garden and you can see the distillery where the products are made. I really enjoyed walking amongst all of the chickens, it is such a peaceful place. You can enjoy a really nice walk in the fields, and I can imagine that when they are purple, the views must be amazing. We also came across another place called Reg's Garden accessible from the walk on the lavender farm, which is actually free. There is a lovely tea room at the lavender farm with lovely outdoor seating. The menu looked wonderful, everything from lavender scones to lavender ice-cream and tea. I did spend a fortune in the shop as I loved the variety of products on offer, I also purchased some real bargains. The lady serving in the shop was really helpful and pleasant. The farm has it's own small car park. I really enjoyed my visit here and I will definitely return when the lavender is ready! More -

Detailed demonstrations Best to time your visit with the live demonstrations in the distilling room – otherwise there isn’t much in return for the £5.90pp entry. The demonstration and talk lasts about an hour – the guide is very passionate and knowledgeable about his work, he engages with the audience very well. The demonstrations of the machinery and bottling facilities are really detailed, and bring to life the process of making lavender-based products. There are pleasant lavender fields to walk through outside, and a small woodland walk – but were it not for the talk we would have been in and out in 20 minutes. -

Peaceful place Very quiet at the moment which makes it even more magical . They leave a little lavender growing so it’s always a beautiful spot , the tours aren’t running but you can watch the video and read about the distillation of the oils . Perfect spot for a cup of lavender tea ( actually really nice ) , some short bread and a little swing under the old Cyprus trees . If you are looking for a gentle stroll , beautiful smells and a nice little gift shop it’s well worth the very reasonable entrance fee -

Great place for a few hours This is well worth a visit. It costs £5.95 for an adult (kids under 16 are free). The farm is in a lovely setting, with nice gardens and fields of lavender! I would certainly time my visit around one of the talks (11.30 or 3pm) as these are informative and make the experience much better. The smell at the place is amazing, and there are lots of products to smell (and buy!). There is a great cafe that serves wonderful scones and lemon cake, with good coffee. Overall, well worth a visit and allow about 2 to 3 hours. -

Very nice Really nice good value attraction when the lavender is in bloom. Nice shop and really good cafe. Theirs a small lavender field by shop as you enter, the other larger one is at back. Before the bigger lavender theirs a nice garden with an old fashioned swing and car cart. The place has a good vibe and really enjoyed our visit. -

Good place to stop off on the way to the airport I can recommend this as a place to go before heading for the airport. The lavender fields are in bloom at the moment- the fields aren't full ( we wondered if they were growing fewer plants because of covid affecting sales) but there are a couple of fields that are full of bees and butterflies and the smell is just heavenly. There are also gardens, picnic spots and a couple of tree swings. A great place for a final stretch of your legs before travelling. The free audio guide is interesting and there are videos of the distillation process in the barn. The cafe does great cakes ( also soup and sandwiches). There are free range chicken s everywhere and we saw a red squirrel as we left. I just realised we missed the guinea pigs....! I was so chilled out from the lavender in the air that the busy airport had no effect and I was still feeling calm when we arrived back at Newcastle. Re -
